Why I Believe Marriage Should Not Be the Goal in Finding Happiness

The societal pressure to get married and have children can be overwhelming, especially for women. However, I strongly believe marriage is not the ultimate goal for happiness and fulfillment, and I want to share my perspective on this topic.

While marriage can bring some couples joy, companionship, and security, it is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Unfulfilling or abusive relationships are much worse than remaining independent. Trust me. Marriage should not be seen as the only successful outcome of relationships; instead, people should focus on fostering meaningful connections regardless of a marriage certificate.

Furthermore, women who choose not to get married and have children can still lead fulfilling lives. Although the traditional role of staying at home and raising children is seen as a path to contentment for many people, it does not necessarily bring fulfillment to everyone.

Single women can pursue careers, travel, and explore their passions without being weighed down by familial obligations. Furthermore, married women can also find fulfillment in their professional…
