Posting With Purpose: What Value Are You Bringing to You Social Media Posts
What’s your social media strategy? Are you just posting whenever something happens to you, or are there real benefits behind the content you share?
Your posts should have a purpose — they should be designed to educate, inspire, or provide solutions to your audience. However, that doesn’t mean they need to be dull or dry; they should add value in some way and not just be about what’s going on in your life.
Educate & inspire your audience
People are always looking for ways to improve their quality of life. If you can educate your readers on how to do something better, they will be grateful and become loyal followers who trust you more. Maybe you could share tips on saving money, getting rid of clutter in the home, or maybe teach them the importance of eating right and staying active. You could inspire them by sharing stories about people who have done amazing things with their lives (think heroes or celebrities).
As a writer/blogger/social media influencer, I attract attention by sharing inspiring stories from my own life — or other people’s lives if they’ve inspired me somehow. This works well because it allows me to share my story as well as theirs — something we all love hearing.
