Karma: The Beauty of All Things Coming Full Circle
Karma is one of those things that people talk about but don’t know what it means. Or worse yet, people think they know what karma is but have no idea. I’m here to help with this! I’ll explain everything from the beginning: what karma is, how it works and why we should care about it.
What is Karma?
Karma is a spiritual law of cause and effect. It’s the sum of all that you have done — intentional and unintentional — which influences your present and future. Karma affects what you experience in life.
Karma means “action,” but it doesn’t mean that karma is specific to physical actions; it includes a mental activity. For example, thoughts can be powerful energies that affect our lives just like any other action we take, whether they are positive or negative thoughts.
Karma isn’t something that happens automatically; instead, it requires participation for its effects to manifest in our lives (and the lives of others). People can create their own good or bad karma by taking part in intentional acts such as charity work or donating money or time towards projects whose missions align with their values; however, those acts won’t bring about positive results if they are done out of egoism instead of compassion because the intentions behind them weren’t pure enough at the first place!
