How to Live With No Regrets
I’ve been thinking about how to live with no regrets, and I’ve come up with some concrete steps that might help you do the same.
Take care of yourself first.
Self-care is a vital part of living a happy, healthy life. Most people have heard of it, but few understand the importance of practicing self-care on an ongoing basis.
Self-care is not selfish and should not be considered an option reserved for those going through tough times. Instead, it should be regarded as essential to our well-being and something we do regardless of whether or not we are experiencing difficulty in other areas of our lives. We all need to practice self-care every day!
There are many ways you can practice self-care: Taking time off work or school to relax, meditating or doing yoga, taking baths with salt or Epsom salts made from lavender flowers (my personal favorite), reading books about how awesome you are (and also some nonfiction), eating good food that makes your body feel great after eating it… the list goes on! Of course, you can also do whatever makes you feel good at any given moment — it doesn’t matter if anyone else thinks it’s “selfish” because it’s your body, and only you know what makes YOU feel good!
