How to Get Over Someone Who Does Not Have the Same Type of Feelings for You
Unless you’re a dating genius who can locate your soulmate in two swipes, or casually bump into them at the supermarket, there’s a fair chance you’ll meet someone and ultimately end up liking them a lot more than they like you.
While it is unfortunate when this occurs, you cannot make someone develop genuine feelings for you. Feelings aren’t planned. They occur. That is why it is so tough to figure out how to get over someone who does not like you back. You can’t make people adore you any more than you can find or know the exact reason why they don’t like you.
If someone doesn’t like you the same way you like them, it implies they’re not the right person for you, and that’s okay. You might not understand why, but in a few weeks or months, you’ll realize it’s true. A crush is all about a fantasy we create in our minds about the person we are attracted to, which is why it’s challenging to confront reality while you’re crushing on someone.
