Whatever the case, these people can make things difficult for everyone else around them — especially if they’re used to getting their way all the time. But don’t worry: there are ways to deal with authoritarian personalities that don’t involve yelling back or arguing endlessly about whose way is best. Remember, it’s always best not to get on the same low, nasty level as these toxic individuals.

Here are some tips on how to get along with someone who thinks they run the world.
