In a world where technology is ever-present, it can be hard to unplug and take time for yourself. With the constant influx of emails, notifications, and messages, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and lost in the digital world. Therefore, it’s important to prioritize self-care and find balance in our lives to stay productive and healthy. Here are a few simple ways millennials can find balance in this digital age.

Schedule Time for Yourself

The most crucial tip for achieving balance is scheduling time for yourself. Setting aside an hour or two daily for yourself helps reduce stress levels and improve overall mental health. This time can be used however you want — you could meditate, practice yoga, read a book, or go for a walk — the endless possibilities! Just make sure that you disconnect from all digital devices during this time. Turn off your phone notifications and permit yourself to relax without feeling guilty or like you have something else you should be doing instead.

Create Boundaries with Technology
