For years, I identified as a people-pleaser — the “easygoing” partner who avoided conflict, over-accommodated, and bent over backward to keep the peace. While this behavior may have looked like love and harmony on the surface, it came at the expense of my own needs, boundaries, and, ultimately, my sense of self.

The journey from people-pleasing to reclaiming my power wasn’t an overnight transformation. It required a deep dive into understanding the roots of my behavior, learning to address underlying wounds, and cultivating self-respect and confidence.
