The clock strikes midnight, ushering in another birthday. You blow out the candles on your cake and make a wish, just like you’ve done every year since childhood. But this time, it’s different. You’re not wishing for a new bike or a trip to Disneyland. You want something much more elusive — a fulfilling relationship.

Being single in your thirties as a woman can feel like navigating a maze. On the one hand, society tells you you’re running out of time. On the other hand, your parents, who have been together since they were 18, wonder why you can’t seem to “settle down.” And then there’s you, stuck in the middle, trying to figure it all out.
