The life of a blogger is not always what people think it is. We live relatively normal lives. However, there is more to being a blogger than posting on social media.
It’s a Balance
Initially, it’s easy to get swept up in the excitement of your new blog. You’re fired up about your ideas and ready to share them with the world. But after a few months, you may feel frustrated or overwhelmed by all the work that goes into maintaining a blog.
On the one hand, there’s content creation: writing posts and creating videos or podcasts. On the other hand, there is community engagement: engaging with readers via comments, replies, social media interaction, and marketing yourself through guest posts on other blogs and interviews with journalists. It can be challenging to strike that balance between creating fresh content and engaging with your audience — sometimes, we feel like we aren’t doing enough in either area.
