Texting has been found in several studies to cause tremendous anxiety. But, on the other hand, according to research, texting can help improve relationships.
Texting is both good and negative, depending on whether you use it to stay in touch or to escape challenging circumstances. In other words, depending on the underlying intentions of the person texting, texting can bring people closer together or create isolation.
Text messaging has become a common feature of modern dating relationships over the last few decades. However, even though many modern relationships begin and evolve through text, others never leave the phone and enter the realm of face-to-face (FtF) engagement. Instead, these relationships are solely based on texting back and forth.
They are virtually entirely (if not totally) contained within the limits of a smartphone or mobile device. Textual relationships take advantage of the digital age’s potential by emphasizing emotional connection without the need for physical interaction.
