The critical thing to remember is that every step forward counts — and it’s not just about how quickly you heal but also about how much effort you put into your recovery process, no matter how long it takes. Here are some signs that indicate that your journey towards healing is going well:

You’re taking better care of yourself.

You’re eating more healthy foods, drinking more water, getting enough sleep, and exercising regularly. You also make time for self-care activities like meditation or a bubble bath. Taking better care of your body shows that you are starting to feel better about yourself.

You’re less afraid to be vulnerable.
